A 90-minute Live Studio Visit with Ceri Hand

Once a month, Ceri hosts a 90-minute virtual studio visit with one of our Members. For the first 75 minutes, the featured artist shares their work, studio setup, and current projects, receives feedback on works-in-progress, and discusses any creative or professional challenges they’re navigating.
In the final 15 minutes, Members can ask questions, offer insights, and join the conversation—moderated by Ceri to keep it focused and valuable.

Four times a year, members join Ceri live inside an established artist’s studio, with the chance to ask questions directly and hear the conversations that open up an artist’s process. You’ll see how professionals talk about their work and learn approaches you can use in your own practice. OHSH Thameside Gallery
Our third in-person event is happening, and we can’t wait to meet our members face to face! While we’ve connected in so many ways already, nothing beats the energy and inspiration of meeting in person.
First, the setting
OHSH Projects is not your standard white cube. It’s a nomadic project space built on bold curatorial thinking and deep collaborations with artists and architecture. Founded by Sophia Olver and Henry Hussey, it moves between raw historic sites and refined gallery spaces, transforming each one into something immersive and psychologically charged.
Then the story deepens
Following the gallery introduction, we’ll be joined by Celia Irvin for a rare, members-only conversation about her father, Albert Irvin.
Celia isn’t offering a second-hand interpretation. She lived it. She grew up through the arc of his transformation from struggling painter to celebrated figure. She worked alongside him for the final fourteen years of his life, eventually taking over the accounts from her mother when she retired at 85. She knows the rhythm of his studio, the ambition, the doubt, the turning points.
If you value proximity to decision-makers, curators and artistic legacy, this is your room. There is a £20 attendance fee to cover the venue and refreshments.

A few times a year, we meet in major cities to step inside the places where real decisions are made. Commercial galleries, public art commissioners, curators, producers, and cultural leaders open their doors and share the kind of insight you never get from a panel talk or a press release.
You’ll hear how they choose artists, what they look for in pitches, how projects get greenlit, and what actually drives opportunities in today’s art world. It’s candid, practical, and refreshingly human.
And just as vital, you’ll connect face-to-face with fellow Members. These meet ups spark collaborations, clarify ambitions, and strengthen the relationships that carry your practice forward.
The subscription renews monthly, if you choose to cancel the subscription, you’ll retain your access to the network and membership until the billing cycle runs out on your active subscription.
